Crispy Crumble

The alarm is sounding away
Or is it?
I awoke before yesterday

A drawing is coming to life
Can touch it
It smears us all with strife

Death, the ever constant knocking
Open it
Chances of another day waiting

I miss this part of Europe  
Never been there for far too long
And when they decide when time is up
I'll know they are really wrong

I miss that place to mistrust
Always been their favourite excuse
And when no one confides but must
It's another way that we lose

A tower falls flat on it's bricks
Or does it?
A masked man full of tricks

A dying leaf swirls through my winter
Try catch it
Crispy crumble for the airy thinker

Life, the ever present default
Let it be
Just don't add the salt
